How to enable OTC ATM
Setting up OTC ATM Mode on your TPoS is surprisingly simple.
First, create a new TPoS (LNBits TPoS extension) or edit an existing one. In the options, you’ll now see a tick box: Enable selling bitcoin. Toggle it on, and you’ll unlock a few settings:
- Maximum withdrawal per day – set a safe cap to control outflows.
- Cooldown period – avoid abuse by defining a minimum time between withdrawals (1 minute or more).
- Withdraw premium - Means you can sell Bitcoin and keep some percentage as a "fee".
Now, when you open your TPoS, you’ll see a new button: ATM.
Tap it, and you’re in ATM mode - indicated by a red centered Button. Tap it to exit the OTC ATM Mode.

Selling Bitcoin Step by Step
- Tap the ATM button.
- Enter the amount you want to sell.
- Confirm, and your TPoS will display an LNURLw QR code.
The buyer simply scans it with their Lightning wallet, and within seconds, sats are withdrawn. You’ll see the familiar green check ✅ once it’s done.
